What's Going on...

Canada House Cine Club - Do You Enjoy Film
Films are generally screened at 7:30 on the 3rd Wednesday of each month (except August and December).
While there are many great Canadian films and we could plan ahead, we try and be as opportunistic as possible, taking advantage of the many opportunities that come our way at the last minute. It's all part of the fun of being members. Please note that all films currently sell-out, but last minute tickets are often available because of cancellations. To become a member, please send a cheque for £20.00 (£10.00 for students) payable to: "Canada House Cine-Club / Friends of Canada House" to: Derek Linfield, Canada House Cine-Club, c/o Stikeman Elliott LLP, Dauntsey House, 4B Frederick's Place, London EC2R 8AB

5th Annual Atlantic Canadian Universities Christmas Dinner
Date: 2nd December at 19.00 - 23.00 Venue: Del Aziz Restaurant, Bankside, London, UK
Cost: £35 (45 €) this includes a 3-course meal, a glass of house wine or a bottled beer on arrival, and tip
UKC has welcomed European and visiting Alumni of all Atlantic Canadian universities to its annual London Christmas dinner. Previous years have seen this dinner held in Dickensian pubs on the Southbank, wine tasting at Quebec House and the Bridge House, at the base of stunning Tower Bridge. We try to keep the evening light, with quaffing festive wine, yummy foods, maybe a reading or two and as always, excellent memories. This year's Christmas Dinner is a departure from the usual turkey and cranberries, as we look towards the warmer climate of the Mediterranean to provide us with a wonderful mix of dishes sure to appeal to both vegetarians and meat-lovers.
There will even be a belly dancer, and of course time for readings and much loved Christmas traditions(more info). RSVP chris@ebooster.co.uk
