Ngati Ranana
The Kohanga Reo is a part of the wider group of Ngati Ranana. In particular Kohanga Reo provides an environment for pre-school children and their families to participate, learn and share in the Maori language.
Kohanga Reo meets Saturday mornings (10.00am-12.00pm) during school term time. We meet on the 4th floor at NZ House, Haymarket, London. Lessons begin and end with karakia and children share some kai at the end of the lesson.
Kohanga Reo is a non-profit organisation. We ask for a £2 koha per family per session. Our main fund-raising event is the annual Hangi, which is held at the wharenui, Hinemihi, in West Clandon.
